Hand on Apple iPhone SE Review: A Monster in Making
Apple’s most anticipated smartphone iPhone SE is set to go on sale on April 8 at Re 39,000 for the base model. The only concern for some of the buyers is its high price that they believe is exaggerated for a small-screen phone. For smartphone enthusiasts who are addicted to 5-inch or 5.5-inch smartphone, Apple iPhone SE is appeared to be little small.

Typing texts or reading something on it is quite a task. However, for the users who already have used older iPhone 4, 4S, 5 or 5S users, the 4-inch form factor may be perfect to use. With this launch, Apple appears to be back to its standard phone design. The phone is similar to its predecessors but light in the weight.
The iPhone SE offers the same great display quality that we have experienced with iPhone 6S. On storage front, the iPhone SE comes packed with 16- and 64GB storage formats and cannot be expandable further. The smartphone runs on Apple A9 chipset with 2GB RAM. The hardware specs of the phone are similar to that of the bigger iPhone 6S.
The device comes with the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS 9.3. At performance front, iPhone SE won’t disappoint you. The device comes handy to Apple’s promise of providing better performance in a smaller form factor. The phone will offer even better performance than what its predecessors delivered.
On camera front, iPhone SE is fully loaded with a 12MP, f/2.2 29mm, phase detection A/F rear camera with dual LED Flash. The phone supports 4k video recording too. What could be a disappointment is that in low light conditions its results are not worth appreciating. The 1.2MP front camera of iPhone SE helps to capture decent selfies under good lighting. It comes with Retina Flash (like in iPhone 6S and 6S Plus) and its front camera also supports bursts mode.
Like other smartphones of the family, iPhone SE comes with trademark fingerprint sensor integrated with the round home button. However, the device doesn’t offer 3D Touch support in the new version. Besides, iPhone SE supports company’s mobile wallet system Apple Pay.
Apple iPhone SE sports a 1,624mAh battery. Its smaller screen ensures better battery life than bigger 6S models which also runs A9 chip. The company claims that the device will offer 13 hours of LTE or Wi-Fi, and 12 hours of 3G.
New features to look forward are Night Shift, multi-user support, password protection for Apple Notes, personalized Apple News, new Apple health dashboard, CarPlay Music and Maps enhancements along with 3D Touch to several native apps.
