After measurable success of BlackBerry KEYone, the company is planning to launch a new flagship device, BlackBerry Krypton, possibly an upgraded version of KEYone. Tipsters have been hinting for a while that TCL, the company that manufactures the BlackBerry, could launch Krypton with full touch screen display.
TCL to Bring Blackberry Krypton with Finger Print Scanner
There are solid rumors that BlackBerry Krypton could be launched in October with mid-range features like 1080p display and 4000mAh battery. As announced, the phone would sport a powerful Snapdragon processor.
Tipster Evan Blass shared a leaked image of the phone that indicates the phone with a sleek metal build body with a home button and a front-facing fingerprint scanner embedded in the BlackBerry logo. The phone also has a 3.5mm audio jack and a charging port placed next to it.
Ahead of phone’s launch, it has been said that the phone BlackBerry Krypton could be a full touch screen, water and dust resistant device. Insiders told Engadget that the phone could come with IP67 rating and a battery that could power the phone for nearly 26 hours with “mixed use.”
BlackBerry recently launched limited edition black variant of its phone KEYone in India, at Rs 39,990. The phone features BlackBerry’s legacy QWERTY keypad and boasts of a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display.
Moreover, the device is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM. The Android Nougat based device will have a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera on board, sources said.
