After successful launch of Blackberry Priv, the company is mulling to unveil two news Android based smartphones this year. Company’s CEO John Chen has said that the company is planning launch of new Android phones this year. He, though, didn’t disclose any time frame.
He hinted a few specs of the devices to be launched. One smartphone of two will sport a full touch screen and the other will come with a QWERTY keyboard.
The phones will be priced around $300 to $400, which translates to roughly Rs 20,000 to Rs 26,000. These devices could be mid-range smartphones. Notably, Blackberry launched Priv in India at Rs 62,990, and it is now listed at Rs 57,990 on Amazon with a sharp price cut.
