After unveiling Facebook at Work back in January, Facebook made consistent improvements to this professional version of the top social network. Now, Facebook at Work has got another core feature ‘Work Chat’. The feature is similar to the Facebook Messenger that will allow colleagues and co-workers to message each other individually while working on the projects. The chat service is not limited to the text messages only, but also allows group chats, photo / video sharing and voice calls among the co-workers and peers. Currently, Facebook at Work is in testing phase and the company has introduced this to only 300 business houses as a pilot project.
The application is now available to download to only those professionals who have been granted working access to Facebook at Work. They are also allowed to link their personal and work accounts together while working on the application.
