Facebook for web has added some new features for the users like adding filters and texts to the photos right from the interface. Notably, these features are already there in the mobile app. The social network has quietly introduced the features in the web version of its application.
In February this year, Facebook started enabling users to add stickers over photos before sharing it to their friends. After a few months, company enhanced the additions and rolled out an updated version of the feature, complete with photo filters and text. The feature is now available for the web that gives a quick option to edit the image.
Clicking on the paintbrush pops up an edit overlay which has four features, namely, filters, crop, text, and stickers. The filter option comes with six different shades viz. original, vintage, spring, summer, fall, winter, and snow. The crop pane lets you clip the corners of the image file you’re uploading and gives a quick option to rotate the images.
The text feature allows you to add captions on the image in given font choices. The stickers pane, offers full-fledged list of stickers.
