Facebook Is Testing Facebook At Work, A LinkedIn Like Professional Platform

Soon we are going to see a professional version of Facebook named ‘Facebook at Work’. Facebook, your favorite social networking website is working on to introduce such a platform to compete its arch rivals LinkedIn, Google and Microsoft Inc.

There are reports that the interface of the site will be like Facebook and will enable users to manage their personal and professional website separately. The new website will have a range of features for users. Some features that it will offer are chat chat with colleagues, collaborate over documents and connect with professional contacts.

Speculations are already there that Facebook has been testing the platform internally. Employees of the company are performing live testing on the site within the company premises. The news emerged when Financial times broke that Facebook is working on a LinkedIn kind of professional website called ‘Facebook at Work’.
