After Instagram, it’s Facebook that’s going to offer multiple account support for its messenger app. Techcrunch reports that the social network is testing an SMS option and multiple account support for messenger’s android version.
A spokesperson from Facebook told TechCrunch:
“Millions of people share phones with their family and friends. Until now, there hasn’t been an easy way for people to access their individual Messenger accounts from shared devices. To address this, we’ve launched a feature on Android to enable multiple people to log in and use Messenger from a single phone.”
Facebook confirmed to Techcrunch that an account section has already been added to messenger in Android. It will enable user to switch between multiple accounts, all are password protected.
