Facebook, the leading social network frequently adds up new and innovative features to it. Recently, the Facebook rolled out a feature that enabled users to send voice messages to their friends through Facebook messenger. However, we have already seen such features in leading messenger apps like WhatsApp and Viber.
Now, the social network has been supposedly working on a new video chat feature for the users. A member of messaging testing team, David Marcus, revealed the screenshot of the proposed feature. It seems that the feature is in testing phase and made available to a selected group of users to test how it’s working. You can see in the screenshot that when you receive a voice chat, the transcription shows up in italics below the audio player.
Since, the feature is under testing, it’s tough to speculate when it will be live for the end users. As of now, the Facebook is looking at the feedback from the group of users who have been given the functionality transcript to test.
