It seems Google’s Accelerated Mobile pages have recorded unprecedented growth since its launch. Most of the news portals have adopted the technology and many are in queue. A report published in RankRanger says that 70% results shown in Google News US on mobile is now from Google AMP.

The Google AMP data published was taken between January 26th and January 29th. Researchers noticed the spike during the period. On January the 25th, the data showed that almost 30% of results were AMP, while the numbers doubled to approx 70% on January 29th.
