Irrespective of the reasons, if you’re willing to delete your Snapchat account permanently, you can do it. It’s noteworthy that you can’t delete your account from within the app. Rather you need a web browser to finish it off. Below is the step-by-step way you can deactivate your Snapchat account:
Step 1: Open the link https://support.snapchat.com/delete-account in web browser
Step 2: Enter your Snapchat username and password in the fields given. Check the box to confirm you’re not a bot.
Step 3: click on Submit button.
Step 4: Re-enter your password on the next page and finally click on the Delete My Account button.
Please note that once you’ve deleted your Snapchat account, there are no ways to recover it. Though, you can create a new Snapchat account with the same name, you can’t get the lost data back.
