HP unveiled its latest challenger to Apple’s laptop claiming it as the thinnest laptop in the world. The thickness is just 10.4 mm; the HP Spectre is as thin as the triple-A battery this is what the company proudly claims. The Spectre is light weight with as it weighs only 2.45 pounds and it is powered by the i5 and i7 processors with 8 GB of RAM along with the storage capacity of 512 GB. The display of the laptop is 13.5 inch Gorilla glass display. The stereo speakers are specifically designed and created from Bang & Olufsen. According to HP, the laptop is capable to provide a battery life of 9 and half hours.
The laptop is a new addition to the HP’s Elitebook editions that were launched last year by the company. HP is hoping for higher sales of the model because it was able to surpass the Apple’s thin versions and thus becoming the thinnest laptop in the world.
However, Apple is not the only competitor in the market for HP, the other manufacturers such as the Dell with its XPS 13 and the Yoga editions of Lenovo are also competing in the market with their innovations in their thickness and functionality.
The think laptop has got the smart finishing making it look attractive and it runs on the latest version of Windows 10. The hood and body of the laptop are made of sturdy aluminum and the base is made of carbon fiber which is lighter in weight.
