Instagram Joins 1 Billion Downloads Club
Statically, the Instagram is used by 500 million users on a daily basis. After WhatsApp, Facebook and Messenger, Instagram is the fourth Facebook owned app that achieved this milestone.
Instagram made several changes into app to make it user friendly. The company redesigned its logo to a more gradient rainbow design, and also revamped its interface to give user content more prominence.
Another feature introduced was Instagram Stories, a new Snapchat-like feature that lets users knot multiple shots or videos together into a single video and share it with friends. Users can type or draw on the images, and after 24 hours, the videos disappear.
