Lava X80 Tablet Device Launched With Voice Calling Support And 8-Inch Display

After successful launch of Lava X81 smartphone, Lava is set to add a new tablet device to its portfolio. The new tablet Lava X80 is priced at Rs. 9,999, and is available across retail outlets in India. The new Lava X80 Tablet Device flaunts the tagline ‘next-generation experience’.

Lava X80 is quite affluent on specifications front. The device runs the Android 4.4 KitKat version. The Lava X80 offers support for 3G voice calling via earphones and speaker, and houses an 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS with OGS display.  The tablet device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom ‘Baytrail’ processor (boosts up to 1.8GHz) paired with 1GB of RAM. When comes to storage, it offers 16GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

On optics front, the tablet flaunts a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and supports video recording. The device has a 3.2-megapixel camera at the front. For longer talk time, the device is packed with a 4200mAh battery packed inside. For connectivity, Lava X80 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB 2.0. The tablet is available in two color variants- Black and White.

The Lava X80 tablet measures at 215.5x125x9mm, and weighs 320 grams. The company is offering one year warranty with the device, alongside six months warranty for in-box accessories to buyers. It is worth noting that the Lava X80 also comes without 4G LTE support.
