In coming weeks, IFA may witness possible launch of Microsoft’s surface phone and Microsoft’s second generation smartphones. While people are eagerly waiting for Surface Pro 5 launch, announcement of Surface phone will also be a noteworthy event. If rumors are to be believed, the surface phone will be coming in three variants.
The lowest variant of Microsoft Surface Phone will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, followed by another with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and the last version with a whooping 8GB of RAM and 500GB of storage.
Analysts however have different views on the phone’s possible screen size. There are rumors rolling around whether the phone will have 5.5-inch AMOLED display, a 5.7-inch display. They have different opinion on phone’s processing power as well. Some of them are suggesting it an Intel Atom 64-bit CPU, while others are pegging for Snapdragon 821 or the Snapdragon 830.
The Surface phones will replace company’s Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950XL that company launched in November 2015. The next generation surface smartphones will have a revamped design and run a much more stable version of Windows 10.
