More Xiaomi Meri Specs Leaked Online: Device With 1.4GHz Octa-Core SoC
While we were busy talking Xiaomi’s two new flagships Mi Note 2 and a bendable display phones, the company quietly unveiled a new phone called the Xiaomi Meri from its pandora box. The device was recently spotted on Geekbench benchmark website.
The listing suggests that the Meri may be powered by a 1.4Ghz octa-core SoC, which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. This allows the phone to score 758 points in the single-core benchmark and 3043 points in the multi-core benchmark.
The leaked images of xiaomi meri that surfaced online showing that the device doesn’t have a high end processor. This further fuels the speculation that the device is meant to cater to the budget segment buyers. The images suggest that the device features a 5.5-inch display offering a 1920 x 1080p resolution.
The device can have a Mali-T864 GPU on the xiaomi meri, along with 64GB of storage. The phone is expected to launch by the end of this month.
