After a grand response the OnePlus 3T got from the buyers, now it’s time for a new upgraded specs heavy flagship OnePlus 5. If speculations are true and validated, OnePlus 3T is ready to get a larger upgrade with OnePlus 5. The successor of 3T has just escaped having numeral 4 in its name as it’s deemed a jinx in China.
OnePlus 5 Leaks and Specifications
This latest entrant in the OnePlus family is said to be a huge and comprehensive update over its predecessor. The phone is expected to have 8GB of RAM like its predecessor OnePlus 3, which was reportedly the first handsets that featured 6GB of RAM.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor – the octa-core Snapdragon 835 along with the Adreno 540 GPU. Moreover, the phone highlights an all new design with reduced bezels in line with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6.
The OnePlus 5 may have a QuadHD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 and a dual-camera array at the back. The leaked reports claim that the phone will be launched sometime in the second half of the year and can have a price tag of $500 or near about.
