A Korean tech portal sheds some light on how OnePlus’s latest launch will look like. The portal hints that the upcoming device will be called OnePlus 5, instead OnePlus 4, if company would have followed its nomenclature series. The phone will have a dual edge display along with a glass body.
OnePlus 5 Features And Specifications
OnePlus 5 might have a ceramic made glass body similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and may have wireless charging feature on-board. The device could be powered with a Snapdragon 830 chipset, 6GB (or probably 8GB) RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It’s also rumored that the OnePlus 5 may come with 256GB storage option as well.
The major highlight of the phone could be its camera. If rumor mills are to be believed, the phone could be launched 23MP rear camera that combined with the 830/835 for next-gen shooting performance and imagery. For selfie lovers, the phone has a 16MP camera module.
Once launched, the OnePlus 5 could take other phones of its category head on. The phone can give stiff competition to Samsung’s Galaxy S8, LG G6 and the Huawei P10, which were just announced on day one of the Mobile World Congress 2017 (MWC).
