The ace smartphone maker maker Oppo has announced its new flagship smartphone the Oppo F1s, specially designed for selfie lovers. The phone will be launched next month. The handset successor to the Oppo F1. No details have been disclosed yet by the company about the phone’s features and specs.
In a tweet, on Wednesday, Oppo Mobile India set August 3 as the date for the Oppo F1s. The company had launched the Oppo F-Series back at CES 2016 vowing excellent camera performance, impressive specs and amazing prices. The Oppo F1 was launched in India in January at a price tag of Rs. 15,990. Its upgraded variant is available the Oppo F1 Plus then launched in India in April at Rs. 26,990.
Oppo F1 Features And Specifications
The dual-SIM Oppo F1 smartphone runs on ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, houses an aluminium body and is slim at 7.25mm. It comes packed with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display and powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
Oppo F1 Features And Camera
On optics front, the Oppo F1 flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and single LED flash. For selfie lovers, the device offers an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with wider f/2.0 aperture (1/ 4-inch sensor) along with software features such as Beautify 3.0, 8 live color filters, and more.
Oppo F1 Plus Features And Specifications
On other hand, the Oppo F1 Plus sports a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, with an f/2.2 aperture. It features PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and 4K video recording. It also comes with a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
