Twitter owned live streaming app periscope now allows users to enjoy live 360 videos. The update now lets users watch 360 degree broadcast on both Twitter and periscope. Now user can see a unique badge labeled ‘Live 360’ badge for live 360 videos. Users not only will able to change the point of view of the videos by moving their device or tapping and swiping the screen.
In an official note, Periscope confirmed that the update is being tested with a select group of users. The update will be rolled out other users in near future. A user can join the beta testing group by clicking here.
After Facebook and YouTube, periscope is the next platform that introduced the feature. YouTube launched the 360 degree live videos in April, while Facebook launched it in December.
