Recent Ranking Shuffle Wasn’t Due To A Google Algorithm Update, Says Google

Lately, many webmasters noticed random drop and up in their website rankings and rushed to the Google to ask if there was an algorithm update triggered? The Google received hundreds and thousands of queries from concerned parties via Twitter and forums.

Sorry, Alex, we don’t confirm updates to our core ranking algorithms. We make hundreds of changes to it, this could have been one.

It’s not hard to guess that Gary has skipped the point intentionally. He didn’t even answer it in Yes or No pattern. Chances are bright that soon we will see a huge Google update. Webmasters, be ready with your Google Search Console details.
