Ace smartphone maker Samsung has launched another budget segment phone dubbed Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro. The device happens to be the next in J Series, and will be sold exclusively via Paytm Mall. The phone will be available to the buyers in three color variants gold, black, and white at a price tag of Rs 8,490. The sale begins from 6 April.

Company sources said that device is built to support PM’s Make in India initiative. The highlights of the phone are Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode and S-bike mode. On specs front, the phone features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720p) Super Amoled display powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded to up to 128 GB using a micro SD card.
Speaking at the launch, Sandeep Singh Arora, vice president, Online Business, Samsung India, said,
“This is the first time Samsung is launching an online exclusive product, Galaxy J3 Pro, on Paytm Mall. Galaxy J3 Pro delivers powerful performance, outstanding display and also packs in consumer centric features developed at our R&D centers in India. This launch will give Paytm Mall consumers the opportunity to buy ‘Galaxy J Series’ which is the largest selling range in India.”
For photo crazy people, the handset sports 8 MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. Among connectivity features, dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and micro USB port are the noteworthy one. The phone houses a 2600 mAh durable battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
