Samsung, the South Korean tech conglomerate has announced its new flagship 4G enable tab device the ‘Galaxy Tab A’ at Rs 17,990 price tag.

The most anticipated tablet device houses an 8-inch 1,280 x 800 WXGA TFT display. It runs Samsung’s own UI atop Android Nougat. The device has a 1.4 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 platform on board, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Tablet’s internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.
On photography front, the tab offers users an 8MP rear snapper with f/1.9 aperture lens and an LED flash. For selfies, the phone comes packed with a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
A 5,000mAH strong battery powers the device. The tablet is available in Black and Gold colour variants. For connectivity, the tablet features Wi-Fi direct, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, USB Type-C port, A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The tab device also has an accelerometer and magnetometer. It’ll be available via both online and offline retailers in Gold and Black colour variants.
Digit reports that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A Launched with notable features like Blue Light Filter, Smart View and Samsung Flow. With Smart View feature, users can plug the tab and cast the screen onto supported televisions, while the Samsung Flow feature helps in automatic tethering with other Galaxy devices.
