Photos based social network Snapchat brings two brand new features for its users. The first feature is its integration with Giphy, while a tab feature for its Stories section is another highlight.
Snapchat Integrates Giphy
The Snapchat-Giphy integration will now allow users to add Giphy animated stickers to their photos. The feature is similar to one that Snap’s arch rival Instagram introduced weeks back.
Moreover, a new ‘Tabs’ feature is also introduced to help snappers organize their stories the way they want. The feature will be available on the Friends and Discover pages to let users sort through friends with active Stories, Group Chats, and Discover subscriptions.
It’s pretty easy to add GIFs to your posts. Just tap the Sticker icon and search for the GIF image you want to add to a photo or video. Scale the GIF image further by pinching the screen with your fingers or add multiple GIFs. You can also pin a sticker to something in your snap by pressing and holding the sticker to a spot in your video. Once pinned, you can move, rotate, or scale the sticker to whatever it’s pinned to.
