Sony May Unveil Sony Xperia XR On September 1 At IFA 2016

The ace smartphone manufacturer Sony is expected to launch another flagship device Sony Xperia XR at IFA 2016 on September 1, to be held at Berlin this year. We are not sure if Xperia XR would be the device to be launched that day, but rumors are hinting about the same.

Sony Xperia XR Features And Technical Specifications

The Sony Xperia XR is expected to house a 5.1-inch display, and be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. The company may debut USB Type-C ports. So far, we have seen Micro-USB ports with every handset Sony makes. The Sony Xperia XR may also support 4K recording with the front and back cameras.

IFA is scheduled between September 2 and September 7 this year. Apart from Sony’s mega launch, IFA will host other launches and announcements at the event. In the event, Samsung could unveil its next Gear S smartwatch, and its VR offering. Motorola may also off the curtain from the next version of its Moto 360 device.

Recently, Sony launched the Xperia XA Ultra in India at Rs. 29,990. This fully loaded device features a 6-inch full HD display, Helio P10 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, 21.5-megapixel camera, 16-megapixel front camera and a 2700mAh battery.
