Twitter, the microblogging legend, is reportedly shutting down its video editing tool SnappyTV that company acquired back in June 2014.
Twitter Is Phasing Out SnappyTV Tool
Media reports are suggesting that Twitter will be replacing SnappyTV with a new video-editing tool inside its Twitter Media Studio suite, a product made for media companies.
Twitter has already started sending intimations in this regard to television broadcasters and other SnappyTV users. If reports are true, users and broadcasters has been told that the tool would be phased out by the end of the year and no longer supports direct uploads into third-party video players.
According to the sources, Twitter has begun phasing out the tool but yet not decided whether the new tool to be launched will support off-platform syndication. Stay in touch to get more updates on this.
