In the beginning of this month, there were indications that Meizu was planning to launch an Ububtu OS-powered variant of its latest smartphone, the MX6. Now, Geekbench has reportedly spotted Meizu MX6 flagship ahead of its official launch scheduled on July 19th. Tipster reveal on behalf of Meizu that Meizu MX6 will be a flagship smartphone running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

The listing made on Geekbench also hinted about the possible specifications of the device. The MEIZU MX6 will be powered by a 1.39GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor, aided by 4GB of RAM. The device will come equipped with a 5.5-inch full HD display, and will sport a Mali T880 GPU. On optics front, The Meizu MX6 will flaunt 12MP rear snapper, and a 5MP selfie shooter. The smartphone will offer 32GB of expandable storage, and a durable 4,000mAh battery.
If the leaks are to be believed, the Meizu MX6 flagship will have a premium metal design with a physical home key offering both mechanical and touch feedback, along with fingerprint sensor. Stay tuned with us. We will discover more when the phone goes official on July 19th.
