Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Tipped to Have Android Oreo 8.0, 4400 mAh Battery
phone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch its next flagship Mi Mix 2 in an event scheduled on 11 September. The phone is likely to flaunt an improved bezel less display, its predecessor Mi Mix launched with last year.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2: Features and Specifications
GSMArena hinted about the possible phone specs after its alleged images leaked to the social media. If rumors are to be believed, the phone Mi Mix 2 would be an Android Oreo 8.0 based device powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 836.
The phone could possibly feature a 6.2-inch screen with a 2960×1440 pixel resolution along with 3D facial recognition. It’s also being said that the phone which houses 4,400 mAh battery, could have 256 GB of native storage as well.
These leaked images of the phone were first appeared on a Chinese micro blogging website. The leak hinted a redesigned settings interface.
We earlier too had a slew of leaks emerged that speculated some of the phone features including a 3D-face scanning technology, MIUI 9, dual camera setup along with a curved AMOLED display.
To recall, the company launched Mix 2 predecessor Mix 1 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset (Daydream compatible), 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB /256GB internal storage variants.
The Phone was launched with a 16MP PDAF rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. On connectivity front, the phone had Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, full NFC functionality and a high-precision GPS module.
